Nurse Making Notes

PUBLICATION & RESEARCH ACTIVITIES

As an up and coming new graduate Registered Nurse, over the course of my degree I have identified how important research and publications are. This is due to the care provided in nursing being ever-changing and highly dynamic. It has become clear how crucial it is to keep up to date and remain engaged in new evidence-based practice, as it recognises alterations that need to be addressed. As a result of this, it will help inform my practice as evidence based practice is the best integration of clinical expertise, research activities and patient values.

During my time at University of New England (UNE) I have not had the opportunity to partake in many research activities. Additionally, I have attached research assignments and written reports that I have conducted throughout my degree. I strive to keep adding publication and research activities to my E-Portfolio as I gain more experience and opportunities throughout my career. I will ensure that as a New Graduate Registered Nurse, the care I provide to my patients is aligned with new evidence based practices.
